Tim Renkow

Last year, Tim Renkow won the title of Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year, this year he was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Chortle Awards and won the prestigious Amused Moose Laugh Off Award. He has also been awarded severe Cerebral Palsy, by God. Hailing from Memphis Tennessee, Tim has a unique viewpoint as a disabled American immigrant living in Great Britain. He is brutally honest, shockingly sharp and has a dark, cutting yet cheerful sense of humour. No subject is off limits for Tim. 2014 saw Tim take his debut solo show ‘At Least Hell Has Ramps’ to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As well as features in The Guardian, The British Comedy Guide and London Is Funny, he gained 4 star reviews from the likes of Kate Copstick (Scotsman), Chortle and Broadway Baby. Tim recently returned from the Edinburgh Fringe where he performed his current show ‘Kim Jong Un, Mohammed, Jesus and Power Hungry Maniacs’ for a full run at the Hive, garnering 4 star reviews from the likes of Kate Copstick, Fest and The Skinny. Kate Copstick also chose Tim as a contender for the Edinburgh Comedy Award. He will take the show to London’s Museum of Comedy on the 1st and 2nd October.  "One of the UK’s most promising new stand ups" – Chortle
