André de Freitas
ANDRÉ is stand up comedian, writer & actor who made Portuguese history by being the first Portuguese comedian to perform in a fully English billed stand up show at the Edinburgh festival as well as the Los Angeles comedy store.
André started his path in the performing arts at the age of 15 when he first got accepted into the Escola Profissional de Teatro de Cascais (Professional Drama School) in the greater Lisbon area. Having finished his stint at the school, he decided to try stand up which led to some success in the local comedy scene - which took André to some TV work and a secondary role in the feature film Sete Pecados Rurais.
Deciding that he wanted an international career he moved to London in 2016 - via the USA.
Up to date, ANDRÉ HAS PERFORMED IN PORTUGAL, ENGLAND, Spain, France, Monaco, Luxembourg, SCOTLAND, USA, SWITZERLAND, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Romenia & Austria.
